I am sure as soon as snow hits, the prices will be right back up in the $3.00 range.

I have been riding bike all summer so it is really going to suck to actually have to fuel up the car again to get around.

Ah you had to go and remind me of that ;) .  I hear some people buy gas when its cheap and store it in tanks for when prices are higher.

Look in the Forum or Midweek for .04 cents off per gallon coupons too! Every little bit counts. Also Cash Wise in Fargo takes money off per gallon at their gas station if you shop for groceries there and show your receipt.

Thanks for the tip. Also, 5 cents off per gallon at Stamart, with the free student discount card, its in the student government office.

$2.16!!!  Wow, I am going to have to go get some.  Someone told me today that it just went up .20 early this morning where they lived so I think I will try and get some while it is still low.

According to USAToday gas prices are not likely to go below $2.00 for most of the country.  Well I hope they stay near $2.00 for a long time, I am really liking the savings!

I think we are stuck with $2.04 for our low :(  I was hoping to go below 2, but I suppose this isnt so bad.  I was a little dissapointed to learn that in ND we are paying over 40 cents per gallon for tax.  ND is charing more in tax the the federal rate.  Where the hell is all the money going?  The roads are crap and they dont salt >:(
Title: Gas prices on the rise
Post by: pmp6nl on October 28, 2006, 02:50:35 PM
Well it looks like gas prices are on the rise again.  Gas stations around NDSU seem to be more expensive the other parts of town, many are hovering round $2.19.

Go fill up!

I think you mean $1.98, and I agree that it is awesome.  Hell, it would be fine with me if it dropped even lower.

You know I am surprised that gas prices didnt soar over the winter like they said it would.  I know we had a "mild" winter, but come on know; that cant be the only reason that gas prices didnt sky rocket.  I attribute it to oil companies not being asses for whatever reason.

On a related note, we have a new low.  Gas is only 1.93 at M&H!!!!  ;D

Never.  The millionaires at the oil companies want more money.
