ALSO:  Who wants to contact Dakota Harvest?  I've spent very little time there, and I know there are others who have talked with them before.  We need to ask if we can use part of their space for registration and let them know we should be bringing in a fair amount of people who will be hungry.

I don't want to volunteer Yost, but Dakota Harvest is his second home in ND. He spends half of his income over there  :evil6:!
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I like hypothermic Holiday and Bikecicle.

But I think we would be better with bikecicle if we said it like...

"The bikecicle" Sponsored by the University of North Dakota Cycling Team. You bring the bikes... we'll bring the Ice.

Awesome.  Thanks guys.  I've got some printed off for the popcorn stand today.  I added a registration window from 10-11:45.

I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, but does anyone think the frats/sororities would be into doing this?  I know they like to compete with each other.

Regarding the Great Plains Cycling Club I will send them a flier.

We should also see if we can get a logo for Dakota Harvest and put it on the flier before we send it out. And also, I'll talk to the shop and see if they might be willing to donate some prizes or something. If they do, their logo should be on the flier as well.
Just try and step to UND Cycling if you wanna test your luck.

Sounds like a plan.  Do you have a SNB logo or should I just grab it off the website?  Something transparent would be good.

Here's a new version.  You can show SNB how pretty it looks with their logo on it.

Yost and I have contact info for the conference. Once the flier is finalized shoot us a copy in our e-mail.

We also may want to consider what time the 5k is? If we're anticipating getting some runner involvement maybe we should host some form of registration before the 5k? I dunno... just thinking about where people will be when.

Can you change the poster on the Official Icebike race link to include the logos?? I just send the info to GPC and I referred to that link.

PLEASE PRINT OUT AND PUT UP AS MANY FLYERS AS POSSIBLE.  If I make it to practice today, I will be bringing a bunch to give to people.

Post the official topic (http://talk.campusdakota.com/index.php?topic=3943.0) on Facebook!  Email your friends and families!  Bug everyone you can get ahold of.

I just sent an email to a bunch of shops in Winnipeg and Fargo, but that doesn't mean someone else can't do some more.

I am working on a new course map.  Kim wants it to cross the river a couple times (who thinks this is a good idea?) and go farther to the north.  I may not be able to get something together before the weekend.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:  I am headed out of town tomorrow morning, so I won't be around to set up the course or help out with the race.  This is not what I originally planned, and I'm trying to do as much as I can to get everything ready beforehand, however the rest of the club is going to have to step up a little in my absence (yeah, you can give me lots of crap for starting something and not being around to finish it...).

Yost, I'm going to tell Kim to contact you with stuff next week, and I'll forward anything I get from her.  I wanted to get a course set up before I left, but that obviously didn't happen.  Give me a call if there's anything I can do to help from New York.
