Winter is not over yet, a snow storm is tracking across the Dakotas. The snow is expected to dump only a few inches in Southern North Dakota, but South Dakota will see the brunt of the snow storm. Aberdeen should expect 5-8 inches, while Pierre could see 6-10 inches. The Minneapolis area is expecting up to a foot of snow.
Take a look at http://www.weather.com/outlook/weather-news/news/articles/winter-storm-targets-midwest_2011-02-18 for more information

Wouldn't it be cool if we could automatically cross-reference the location of schools on Campus Dakota and then automatically send out alerts like this, or have notices pop up on the website?

That would be awesome!

Well, I'm a bit late with replying, but this sounds like a great idea! We could even use it for tornado warnings and the excessive heat index especially with the weather lately....Wonder if there's some way to implement this or have it show up on each school's page as a certain color for different types of weather alerts?

Haha! I don't know about that.....I'm not sure I'd be able to figure out how to do it...all that computer language and software development jargon...
