haven't had an issue with Facebook, I think its a much better layout than Myspace is... although i wish they would be better for bands. Which is the only thing myspace has going for it anymore.

They haven't gotten back to me.

It's rather depressing.

I got some wall spam today.  They are letting the app programmers have way too much control of things.  It's weird, because it's not really viral marketing, it's just plain SPAM.

I agree with the displeasure towards the new design, but its not quite as bad as myspace; yet!

If you're like me, you hate the way Facebook is going.  Even though there is nothing we can do about it, it was sort of therapeutic to send them the following suggestion.  If you agree, please send them a similar one (or copy and paste this one).

Quote
Dear Facebook,
I don't spend a lot of time on you anymore because, frankly, it's not worth it.  I can't get the information that I need, and I get swamped with information that I don't want.  Please bring back Facebook Classic:  no high school students, no random riffraff, no minifeed and no applications.  Facebook used to be a place to find out more about someone--now it's turning into a MySpace clone.  The point was to learn about someone so you could strike up a conversation, or find someone with similar interests.  Now it's all about spending your life online.  Do you want that on your conscience?  There's more to life than you, Facebook, and if the problems continue (nay, if the situation does not actually improve), I'll have to cut myself off entirely.

Again, my requests are simple:  take away functionality!  Eliminate the high school connection, the ability for random people to get accounts, the minifeed and the applications.  I don't want extra crap, I just want my community back.
