1. Download and run Alliance here:

2. When Alliance starts it will ask you for a code. Enter each code individually: (for best results add all codes.)

If a code doesn't work it just means the target computer is off. Try the other codes.
once connected to another computer go to "add friends" (again) on the main screen
The third box "I want to connect to friends of my friends" should now be available. Click that and hit next it should now load all the active users in the network.
If it is not available just let the program run for a few hours. (For some reason it takes awhile sometimes. The more people you can connect to the better the friend sharing feature works.)
If you have friends that want to get on go ahead and generate codes for them and just let them connect to you. Whenever you connect to the main network they will also be added in.
