High-profile Kansas State comes to town Saturday

North Dakota State head men?s basketball coach Tim Miles isn?t exactly sure how he got Kansas State to come to Fargo. NDSU is just hoping it doesn?t take another 35 years to bring a high - profile program to the Bison Sports Arena.

The Bison and Wildcats hook up Saturday at 7 p.m. It is the final game in a three-game contract that called for NDSU to play two games in Manhattan, Kan., and K-State to return one game to Fargo.

It?s called a two-for-one in the scheduling game.

?We called them about a two-for-one and they thought it would be fine,? Miles said.

The last high - profile major college program to play in Fargo was Villanova in 1971. The Wildcats won 94-61.
