MEETING!! Wednesday the 17th

Hello Chaps, just wanted to let everybody know that there will be a meeting on Wednesday night (the 17th) at 9:30 pm on the Alumni Room.

DECISION 2008!! Cycling Club elections will be held at this meeting, don't miss it.

Membership cards will also be handed out at this meeting, make sure you bring $1 to cover the cost of lamination.

This will be great.  I love elections.  Just remember, Sal Atticum can put all the lipstick on he wants, he's still Sal Atticum.

It would have to be some sort of absentee ballot, and since we are doing nominations and elections at the same meeting, it could prove to be a bit difficult. I would be down for taking votes via phone, although you would lose anonymity.

What does everybody else think?

I was just thinking... if theres a tie, u guys can call or text me and I'll vote. Of course then people will know I screwed them... of course, no one really likes me anyways?

I think you should vote -period.Regardless whether there is a tie or not.Either phone call or text works. Last year our votes were NOT anonymous, and we were OK.

I mean I'll vote... I guess someone should post up the candidates or whose running... oh wait noms and elections same night.

Hmmm... Well, give me a list of whose "eligible" meaning... who's likely to be present and what positions are available (are we changing anything?)

I'll call you during the meeting and let you know who the candidates are, and allow you to vote. The meeting will be at 10:30 your time, so expect a call around 10:45 or 10:50.
