North Dakota Student Association - someone doing what we want
« on: November 02, 2007, 11:09:59 AM »
This is a plug for another group of students who are representing us on the statewide level.  The North Dakota Student Association works with the state legislature to make sure we are represented--so let them know what you think!

List of NDSA Executives
Many of these are from UND, some from NDSU and VCSU--why is there such a bias?

Check their website out!  It is being kept up by none other than our very own tetsujin, and should be full of information for students (not to mention just being purty).

Ha, you beat me to posting about it. I was just going to explain that with the new website every position can now tell what they are doing on the website. Also All the committees can do likewise. And the best part every school in the NDUS can post updates about their school. So its a fairly informative area.

And if you have any thoughts about anything done or said you can always comment its an open area and you can go nuts. And if you go too nuts there is always a delete button.

But again, keep checking out www.nodaksa.org for updates about what is going on in your school.

Nice website.

Hopefully NDSA can be effective in lobbying the legislature for more state support of the institutions next year.

I have a question-where can I find out who my NDSA representative is?  I have looked on the website, but all I can find is the list of executives (but maybe this is what I am looking for?).  It may be the case that UND has a list somewhere, but I can't find out anything from the new student government website anyway...

I would call your Student Government or Haylee Cripe.

I found them for UND:

UND Delegates to NDSA

It would be nice if the NDSA site had lists of delegates, but that's probably up to the individual schools, huh?

It is up to the students at each school to post who they are and the like. Obviously that isn't getting done, but eventually we will get people off their butts.
