You know I really hate spammers. Some "beeep" posted all of these spam messages on the board. I dont really get too mad over spamming the board because I can easily delete them and they do not directly affect members, but I really hate private message spamming.
I happened to be checking my email earlier and I saw that I got a private message from some "user" claiming the message was from the admin. Of course being the admin I knew this wasn't the truth so I came over to the message board to investigate. When I go here I found about 15 spam messages all over the board, all of which I quickly deleted. Then I found out that same spammer had sent messages to some of the members (via pm), I was pissed.
At ndbison.com we want to provide services that are free from things such as spamming, as such I was rather unhappy. Of course I banned the user multiple ways, I dont think they will be coming back. I also limited the number of private messages that can be sent and I increased the time between posts. We are also working on other solutions to reduce spamming in the future.
I apologize to those of you that got the messages, with the not so appropriate picture.
