Title: CD ROM - older issues
Post by: Sal Atticum on August 22, 2007, 06:45:35 PM
CD ROM: Campus Dakota, Read Only Memory

The web on paper.

See what your classmates can write.  Contribute.  Know what's going on.

This is the only statewide publication for North Dakota college students--if you want to contribute for your school, let me know.

Download the attached pdf. (http://talk.campusdakota.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1544.0;attach=110)

Look, it may not be perfect, but it's real.  If you have a minute or two, print out a few copies to hand to your friends.

As always, we love feedback!

I'm impressed!  The layout and quality of the production is top notch - better than the Dakota Student (they look like they aren't even trying in comparison).

I agree, it looks very very professional and pretty damn sweet.

So where have you been distributing?

I hit a few coffeeshops in Grand Forks (Urban Stampede and Tabula) last week, as well as the Union.  This week I am a lttle slower, but I will drop some off in the same places tomorrow I suppose.  I would make more copies but the printer I am using is rather slow.

Are you doing color or black and white?

Black and white.  No $ for a color cartridge in my own printer, so I am using the local free one . . . (shhh)

I need to find a free one.

Though I believe I can print on NDSU printers for 3 cents a page in b&w

Title: CD ROM Volume 1, Issue 3 - Wednesday, September 5th 2007
Post by: Sal Atticum on September 05, 2007, 12:10:50 PM
Here is this week's early edition of CD ROM.  I had to put it all together today because I'm headed out of town.

What this means is that there will not be any printed copies distributed by myself--if anyone wants to take this on themselves, it would mean a lot to me.

Issue 3 is attached.  Make sure to enjoy it, and post more events on the calendar!

I thought it looked 'hip.'

Although how a floating head looks hip I have no idea.

Plus, it's your avatar.  This makes life interesting.

Title: CD ROM volume 1 issue 5 - Thu Sep 20th, 2007
Post by: Sal Atticum on September 20, 2007, 08:51:52 AM
Here we are again, and I've managed to ignore work and my significant other* for long enough to put together another issue of CD ROM.

This comes in two formats:

Regular - Pages in the right order, print it out on 4 sheets or 2 back to back.

Folded - Pages in screwy order, print it out on one sheet with two pages per sheet (11x17 perhaps, or 8.5x11) back to back and fold it.  Saves paper!

Print it and pass it on, or send the PDF!

*This is something I will not be able to do much longer.  I NEED HELP PUTTING THIS THING TOGETHER!!!!

50 hard copies of this were passed around, mostly in Tabula.
