As some of you know, I built a pedal car over my free time (not that I had much) over the last two summers. This December it will be losing its home in the backyard of a friend of mine, so I have two options: find somewhere else to keep it, or sell it. I'm open to any suggestions people have right now, because I really don't know what's going to happen. Even working out a deal to give it to the cycling club in some way would be better than leaving it somewhere to get trashed. The whole thing probably cost around $300 to build. It holds two people comfortably and a second crankset can be added to give the passenger the ability to help pedal.
If anyone wants to take a ride to get a feel for it, that can be arranged too (and I'd like to get out and ride around more before it snows).
In fact, if the CC
is interested, you may be able to use it for advertising, or rent it to people for some cash, or something beneficial to the club. I imagine if we put another drivetrain on it before it gets too cold, it might be interesting in the snow.
