« on: October 01, 2009, 01:26:19 PM »
www.skinnyski.com just posted an updated list of ski swaps coming up.  Non are really close to us, but the deals can be really good, so travel one day may be worth it do get a nice price cut.

Has anyone put thought into doing a ski swap in Grand Forks, or are there too few people who ski here?

Considering the SICK deals on skis that SBS is always running I wonder if it would even make sense?

XC stuff though I bet is plentiful.

The only probelm is that, at least the last time I checked, S&B does not really have much "racing quality" ski stuff.  Maybe a swap/deal/demo/fun day would help get people out and spark some more interest in ski racing.

XC race stuff is hard to comeby anywhere because XC skiing is a niche activity.

But they were selling some 6 stars for cheaper than I coulda gotten them from the shops I worked at back home. I'd race the heck outta 6 stars.
