American Eats: TV Show

Just wondering if anyone else ever watches American Eats on TV.  Personally I think its a pretty good show.  It is interesting that shows like this are taking off right now, multiple different networks have different versions of like shows.

Now I dont watch much TV, but it is interesting learning about some things that are a direct part of our daily lives...  Right now American Eats is on the History Channel, they are talking about the different types of condiments, their inception, history, and direction etc.

I suppose if you are going to watch TV, you might was well learn something.

I really like that show too.  There is another one on the Food Network called "Unwrapped".  Same concept.  I like them both, and Unwrapped is on all the time.

I really like shows like that, they are really interesting; and actually informative.  You actually learn something relevant to life.

I was watching something like this the other day and I learned that salsa is actually more popular than ketchup in sales.  I had no idea, I thought ketchup would have been way above salsa.

I saw American Eats for the first time (thanks to you people) and I have to say it is a really great series.  Thanks for suggesting it.
