Release: 09/05/2008

FARGO, N.D.--North Dakota State University athletic officials said today that the Central Connecticut State University football game on Saturday  and the homecoming game with Southern Illinois University on Oct. 4 are sold out.

A limited number of standing room tickets will be available for the Central Connecticut State game and go on sale at the Fargodome ticket  office at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Additional tickets for the Oct. 4 game with Southern Illinois may open up on Monday, Sept. 29, during the week of that contest.

Including the 2006 Dakota Marker win over South Dakota State, Bison football has sold out five of its last seven home games (not including  the CCSU game).

Tickets still remain for the Oct. 11 game with Western Illinois, Nov. 1  game with Indiana State and Nov. 22 Dakota Marker game with South Dakota State.

NDSU athletic officials are encouraging people to purchase tickets now  for the remaining home games.

Due to the high demand, the NDSU ticket office will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, at the Bison Sports Arena. For more information call 231-6378 or (888) 231-6378.
