Whoever's making the flyer, could you leave a space for an HB Sound and Light sponsor logo?  We may be getting sound from them again.  http://www.hbsound.com/

Well folks we need to rethink this now.

Stef, just emailed me back and said its a no go in their parking lot for that weekend. They have some stuff going on. Thoughts? The next weekend is nationals, are we gonna go? Or should we just move it?

Okay, looks like we have to go ask HB Sound and Light directly if they will spot us a DB Technologies Battery powered speaker and a wireless mic.  The guy we talked to last year doesn't work there anymore, and isn't sure of the rental price anymore.

this is what I found out:

"Hey Mario,

Nice to hear from you.  Hope all is going well with you & Tiff in school and
your sports training.  The guy that I have contacted at the school regarding
use of the property is:

John Strandell, Asst. Principal
South Middle School
1999 47th Avenue South
Grand Forks, ND 58201
746-2345

Have a great day,
Lisa"

We need to get a hold of the guy and see if it would be possible to host the race over there.
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I'll go take a spin over there and see what that lot is looking like. I'm sure it will be better than nothing though.

I'll see if I can get a hold of him today.

My roommate Jon said it is cool if we use his grill.

I still need to call Clear Channel, which I am planning on doing tomorrow.

I wouldn't bother. It looks like its not happening. We need a lot before we advertise.

Have we maybe thought of another paking facility we could use? What about the old Lever's parking lot on Washington? Its big and zer0 traffic. We might have to contact the lease holder/GFPD for the okay. We can also move the date to this summer. I'll be here, and Mario, and Em and Paula, and Dave?, maybe Yost? what about Beek? It doesn't have to be in May, we can advertise now while the kids are in school so we have better coverage, but in summer we post signs in daycare centers, neighborhood light poles, etc etc on and on blah blah blah. So, any takers?

I'm up for a whole series of races this summer, kid through adult based on who shows up.  I'm still trying to figure a schedule out that doesn't have me gone for months at a time, so I can't guarantee anything right now.
