Buzz and the Calendar
« on: October 08, 2006, 05:48:58 PM »
I was sure that I had an explanation of this somewhere, but I can't find it.

If you haven't figured out, Buzz is the place to go to find out what's going on.  If you are a member, you can post events here too.  If your event has a specific day, you can also use the Calendar, which automatically begins a thread in Buzz.  Just click on the date of the event to post.

It's also a good place to discuss the event, before or after, rather than beginning a new thread somewhere else.  However, this is up to you.

The Calendar will also show member birthdays, if that member has included his or her birthday in the profile.  Upcoming events and birthdays also show up at the bottom of the main forum page.
JUST EXTRA POLISH. I DO SOME WORK WITH EXCELL SO I KEEP THE CAPS LOCK ON :-P

With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
