spare mountain bike?
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:54:36 AM »
hey guys, I have a friend looking to borrow/rent a mountain bike for the adventure race, it doesn't have to be fancy, just a bike that rides. if you have a spare or one laying around, let me know, thanks!

Mine is currently available if your friend is willing to ride a rigid fork and is decently tall.  It's been put back together since the spring race so it should work out okay.  It looks like I will not need it where I will be working at the race (heh heh heh...).

If beeks doesn't work you can ride mine and give the brosephs warios? However... my cranks are bent which generally causes broken chains at some point (if you recall my last MTB race) however I have what is known as the "strongest" chain in the 3/32" chain cats.

I have a trek 820 he could use also. its in pretty good condition still. I haven't been able to ride it much with my schedule. forgot the frame size but it fits me fairly well (I'm 5' 9")
