My proposal for a fine new thread on this board of messages. If you can't decide, simply post a link here and let others decide for you.

I'll start it off:

#2: Incredibly Awesome (how awesome does* Billy Corrigan have to be to wear a furry jacket and a hat with ear flaps when it's warm enough that Jessica Simpson can wear short sleeves?)

P.S. I think it should be a rule that in order to reply to this thread and give your two cents about something, you should have to post something else for everybody else to crap on.

Here's a good one:

http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?sid=10Transition&eid=4338&menuItemId=92583

Looks horrible, but performance seems to be on par with everyone else's models.

Also, Jessica and Billy:  Wierd?

I totally disagree that it looks horrible, and I got more nice comments about this bike than you can imagine. And yes, it performs even better then others (I've tested it personally).
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I think bicycle powered anything is more or less stupid. If people are doing it to try and raise awareness about some need for an alternative energy source, I think they're misleading the public as bicycles could really never be that... not to mention while the human body is incredibly efficient as a survivor (or maybe not?) I don't think we're that efficient as a power supply. I mean... realistically, if you took the most efficient possible (and feasibly, and currently in widespread use) and calculated out the amount of energy required to produce the power to light that Christmas tree, compared to the amount of energy cyclists needed to power it (regarding the food necessary to perform and the amount of havoc that hath wreaked on the environment) I think the power supply would win. It would be more realistic to simply not have the tree... but lets not get crazy.

I have lots of funny signs... Yost this ones for you.

Hahaha...  oh jeez, it was a joke, I was thinking about TT bikes when Yost suggested this thread to me.  TT bikes in general:  incredibly awesome and ridiculously stupid.  Personally I've always thought that Specialized bikes were ugly (at least the last 5 years).  It wasn't meant to insult you and your TT bike tastes, sorry if you took it that way Mario.  Anywho - keep in mind that to comment you need to add your own topic as per Yost.  So here it is, you be the judge:

Nothing particularly against the French, but why is it that the police are the ones in charge of dealing with doping charges, at least in France and Spain?  Do we send American police after people if their blood tests come back bad in, say, the Tour of California?

If the drugs are illegal the drugs are illegal. Typically I expect that they decided whatever drug landis was "using" was illegal and they changed the laws so they could prosecute. The French have no ethics when it comes to cyclists. Personally... I think what they're doing is just as bad if not worse than doping (cheaters).

Nothing against the French either... they're just the idiots involved in making asses out of themselves.
