UND News posts

We've installed a mod to automatically post the "official" news releases from the UND website.  Please let us know whether you like/love/dislike/hate this feature.  I'm not sure how often it will post, but I think it shouldn't be more than once or twice a day at most.  This saves a lot on having to search for UND news stories.

Seems UND's news feed has some errors in it, and the RSS poster can't parse them properly, so I'll need to play with it a bit more.

Can you fix it and add some other schools in?  Do many schools even have such feeds?

A few schools seem to have it--if you haven't noticed, we've also set up a feed from Fargo into the events board.  I know SDSM&T has a couple feeds, but I'm not sure how much interest there is, since we only have one member from SDSM&T that I know of right now.

So what does everyone think?  Is it drowning out real conversation to have the feeds here, or are you learning?

With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
