We are using a lot more of the cross country ski trail,
Venturing down into the river slime?  ;)

Should be a fairly nice day other than the temperatures being ~40F or so.

Andy has a sweet new blog post about last week's race -- http://threehoursaweek.blogspot.com/2010/11/pain-cave.html

That was Andy?  I totally didn't recognize him.  Been wanting to compare training notes with him for awhile.

A note on the third Race. Same Location (Riverside Park), but the course will be even more different than previously. We are using a lot more of the cross country ski trail, so beautiful sights while power along near the river bank. Start Finish is in the Treeeeeeees.

Also, even if you can't volunteer to help set up, you can still come watch the race AND give us a hand by policing the Greenway path intersections.

A note to people wanting to move up for the last race: we have changed the rule about keeping half your points when you move up from Beginner to Advanced.  Sorry if this has caused any confusion.  We decided that since the advanced races have been running about an hour instead of 45 minutes total, the disparity between beginner points and advanced points is too great to be converted this way.

http://talk.campusdakota.com/index.php?topic=5388.msg22750#msg22750

You are still welcome to move up, or move down, or move sideways (over the barriers, that is), but we won't be doing any point conversions: you'll have Beginner points and Advanced points and they cannot be added together to compete for the series championship.

Photos from my camera are going up on Flickr right now.  They were taken by any number of people today, so thanks to all of you!

If anyone else has photos they want to share, either post a link or get them to me somehow and I can get them up.
