If you are an undergrad, you will benefit the most.  Take a look at the American Opportunity Credit, the Lifetime Learning credit, and the Hope Credit.

I think TurboTax will lead you through these as well.  If you've never tried TurboTax, I'd recommend giving it a try.
JUST EXTRA POLISH. I DO SOME WORK WITH EXCELL SO I KEEP THE CAPS LOCK ON :-P

Too bad, all these tax breaks weren't available last year when I  could have used them as an undergrad.  :(

I'm pretty sure Lifetime Learning and Hope have been around a few years.

They have been around, however they are much higher now.
