News from the road: Lindenwood 2012
« on: March 18, 2012, 03:55:56 PM »
A couple links to pre-race info have been posted on Facebook.

Competing this weekend were Logan Evans (A), Jordan Riley (C), Andrew Mills (C) and newcomer Peter Olejniczak (C).

The men's A road race was canceled on Saturday, leaving Evans to cheer on Mills and Olejniczak to 6th and 7th place and Riley to a mid-pack finish in the men's C race.

Team time trial results are supposedly available on the NCCCC Facebook page, but I can't get them to work...

In today's criterium races, Mills touched the podium with a 3rd place in the men's C race, followed closely by Olejnizcak in 5th, with Riley again finishing strong.  Evans' average speed of 34 mph during the men's A race was unfortunately no match for the other powerhouse riders in of both the NCCCC and MWCCC.

Additional race reports should be available soon from www.collegiatecyclingnews.com and http://nc-cycling.com.

The team begins their trip home this afternoon.  Next weekend they travel to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Tour de Husker and will be joined by first-year UND riders Kyle Johnson and Gina Villani.
