I think he should be aware of how much the whole UNDPride card fiasco sucks. I also think that he should know about how inefficiently the parking ramp is being run. For example, I paid almost $300 for a reserved parking pass last year, and then they end up letting anyone park on the top floors of the ramp for free (or just the cost of their regular permit). In addition, there was a week long period at the beginning of this summer where they were repairing the road in front of the entrance to the ramp, so the ramp was closed. I attended a seminar that week, so I still had to come to campus and park. I asked the parking office if they were going to pro-rate my pass for next year since I would lose a weeks worth or parking ramp privileges, or at least let me park in the visitor lot for free and they said no, that I would just have to park in the regular lots.
Also, why is the exit(s) on only one side of the building. The is a space close to the North/West side of the ramp, near University Avenue, that could also be an exit and alleviate the traffic at peak times. Basically what happens is that since I have a reserved spot I park right at the first floor. During peak times there is so much traffic coming from the top floors of the ramp that I will literally have to sit in my car for 10 minutes before I can even get out. So people who didnt pay $300 are able to get out of the ramp faster than me? WTF!
