Cool, its about time.  We really need to work on bike lanes and such up here in ND. So many cities have a various nice set of bike lanes.

We need to work on the roads 1st. I'd rather have smooth roads than bike lanes.

I also wouldn't mind someone putting up some sort of stop sign at these unmarked 4 way intersections that pepper the city.

It's not just bike lanes, it's more off-road paths, more signage, etc.  You're right about those four-ways--they only work if you know and trust the "normal" traffic flow.

Although if you read the comments on this blog post, you'd assume someone had suggested we outlaw all forms of automobiles and force everyone to ride a bicycle everywhere.  Nutso.
