I unfortunately have another engagement.  I'm also still recovering a little from racing a 5K on Saturday, so it looks like no ride today.

Mario and I are going to abstain from riding today as well.

Tomorrow, however, we are going to try and hit up something a little longer at about 5:30.

Every rider is invited on every ride. This is the foundation of a club and a team co-existing. Everything in the group ride forum is designed to offer ride info.

Chad just forgot to post utilizing the format. Since we're on page 3... I'll refresh peoples memory.

Regarding tomorrow's ride:

Tomorrow, 4/22 Tuesday, @ 5:15pm
From the Union, longer ride, 35-45 miles, depending on time available, to be established on the spot
No drop, training ride, everybody welcome
Road bike recomended

See you all there!
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

What he means is: If the weather is nasty, don't come because no one will be there. Define nasty though?

It's just going to be windy and cold and REALLY cold. I think you'll be free of precipitation though.

Precipitation is what I consider nasty, I know it's cold, but we've ridden in colder weather.

Turtle River Trail Rides
« Reply #51 on: April 27, 2008, 10:12:40 PM »
Anyone up for group Turtle River trail rides?  I'm thinking weekly trips (probably Sunday late afternoons or early evenings).  I have enough room on my rack for two other bikes otherwise you'd need your own transportation.

Just a reminder:

"Mondays are officially the No-Drop group rides from here on out.

All details are TBD but should be:

Location: Memorial Union.
Time: 5:30pm Mondays.
Ride: As decided. No shorter than 20 miles.
Bike rec: Road.

This ride is to be utilized by the team as a recovery ride so the pace/mood will be casual, cheery and conversational. All are welcome.

As always. Helmets are required."

Not sure if I'll make the group ride today, need to check my schedule at the shop. I'll be there if I can

Totally down for rides at TR. Although I think that traditionally the guys from SBS ride on Saturday evenings. I know that last year there was a bit of dissatisfaction when we tried to organize Sunday evening TR rides instead of Saturday. You might want to check with the guys at SBS about what they will be doing for their TR rides this year (I haven't really heard much talk around the shop as of yet). Keep us informed though, I can't wait to hit the trails!

You gotta love those cheery rides at 48 degrees (8 degrees C).  I'll try to be there, but we'll see what comes up.

Sorry it's a bit short notice, but I was thinking maybe a fun-er ride today.

Location: Memorial Union.
Time: 5:30pm
Ride: Greenway, downtown, wherever
Bike rec: Fixie, MTB, single speed...whatever you've got.

Let me know what you think!
