Title: "The Student Journal" approved

DS Article (http://www.dakotastudent.com/home/index.cfm?event=displayArticle&ustory_id=cdd02988-29a6-4209-b02b-3fec55d73618).

Well, at least we'll have a conservative paper on campus as well as a liberal one.  So much for everyone learning to deal with opinions other than their own.

That was unfair of me to say.  Regardless of what opinions the new editors of The Student Journal have, I'm in favor of any and all means to increase student involvement and student communication.

Financing aside, having more than one newspaper/news outlet on campus will be awesome!

. . . and denied.

I think this was a good use of the veto.  Why do we need to print stuff off the AP website?  Why do we need to pay for news?  I thought this paper was supposed to be about student voices, not a mirror image of the DS.
