Thoughts? It would be pretty easy, I assume all of our teams will be set up in generally the same area so we could show everyone how it's done, and it maybe would help get more people interested in polo.

im D!

I think this is an awesome idea

What can I do to help make this happen? I'm going to be tied up with END-TOMBED promotion until then, along with work, but if the club wants to do this and I can help in some tangential fashion, let me know.
Also, who wants to play this week? I'm thinking sometime in the middle of the day in the quad.
-
I'm willing to help make sure the equipment gets out there the day of, but what else would we need to do?
-
I was wondering if the club wanted to promote it at all. There seems to be some interest from the Fargo crew on Facebook.
-
Sounds fun to me!

ya cool, how would we promote this? guessing maybe andy would want to know? maybe it could go on his blog? i think it would be cool to get people interested since we tried to get it going this summer.......what did you have in mind? also are we in the homecoming parade this year?
-
I'd say just facebook promotion, and maybe Andy can throw something in his blog. Isn't this going to be a chill game of polo? or are you thinking a tournament? I don't want to deter racers from Andy's gig. I was thinking when people aren't racing they could polo it up.
Lauren, we are not going to be in the parade this year :(. It is the day of our big CX race and we don't want to have people in the parade and not helping at the race or whatever. If we had 50 members it'd be a different story.. but seeing that we have less than 10 active members, it makes it difficult to do.

I asked Andy about hosting bike polo, and he thought it was a good idea. He said he would look for a space out there for us next weekend. I might go ahead and spread the word a little bit on FB, but we thought it could be available for people to get exposed to it and for people to spectate when they are not doing the course.
