High school senior at the ND Republican convention

I know this is a little old, but I thought it was a good article.

Looking at two young boys who appeared to be brushing confetti on the floor with pom-poms, someone on my right joked, “They’ll make good hockey players one day.”

It then dawned on me that this was for all ages. It was an event to gather support from around the state for one candidate to represent a political party on the ballot this fall.

I spent March 19-21 in Grand Forks as the youngest delegate to the Republican convention. Voting there was my first official action as an 18-year-old. Let’s just say I’m not exactly a tattoo sort of person.
