I would hope they would talk about anything they want in here, the same as everyone else.  Mostly, I think it would be beneficial if they did in fact engage in a dialogue with the general student population.  This type of format is ideal because you can say what you want to them with anonymity (they could be anonymous too, for all I care), and because all the parts of the conversation are preserved.  Mostly, I want them to know this place exists.  I don't have any current beef that needs to be addressed by the Student Government (sorry sj08, I've just been lumping everything into 'Senate' without thinking), but I want other people to be able to bring their ideas here so they can be seen by the rest of campus, because there is always a possibility that more than just the one person is experiencing some difficulty that could be fixed if the SG knew that it was a major problem.

Yes, sj08, you count too.

Yeah you are right in the fact that the SG board sucks......I have connections with senate, what did you want them to talk about in here?

Why wouldn't they want to post?  I'm interested in working with them, since their own forum seems to have disappeared.

Can we get any of the student senate execs to start posting here?  I think it would be fun, to say the least.

Who knows anyone in the Student Senate?

I just keep remembering at the debate how serious Martindale was about that poster board. I have this feeling that the "lobbying" that they plan to do won't get done. Maybe I'm just pessimistic about our current execs in student senate.  :dontknow:

* mburtonk gazes into the distance and the setting sun.

It is my dream that, someday, Dakota Roar could serve UND students in a way a posterboard never could...

Just a shot in the dark, but having a posterboard outside the office would likely not bring up any constructive ideas.  especially considering this hockey ticket debacle this week.  ideas would not have been what would have been on that board. if students have ideas,  it's really not that hard to physically GO INTO the student government office and say i have an idea, shoot an email, etc.

idea he came up with about putting a poster board type thing outside of the student government office. He wanted students to have a place to put their ideas down. What a joke.
