The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I'll be going.  What's with the "Race" in quotes?   ;)

I am interested in trying this race. Does anyone have any more specifics? Such as acceptable jerseys, what to bring, what to expect, where to park, etc.

There are effectively no rules or regs. It is non-USAC and people will show up on everything from TT bikes to road bikes to hybrids. 2 yrs ago (I wasn't here last year) There weren't any catagorical divisions. Everyone started at the same time. They did I think have age groups though for trophies.

My advice would be to show up on ur road bike and think USAC. Its just past the airport on highway 2 (the year I did it at least) in a dirt parking lot by a sign about fireworks or something.

My advice is don't do anything remotely crazy because most of the people are of the recreational type. There are some serious riders though, they will typically be off the front instantly so as not to be involved in the mayhem. (I'm not trying to put the race down btw).

Warm-up as you need to, everyone is different. I'd drive there. Any type of cycling apparel is acceptable.
