I would never text during class, way too disrespectful!  I wonder if there is a correlation between texting during class and grades?

Interesting.  I like the self fail method.  I dont care if its a norm or what not as is claimed by many...that does not make it right.  I am not as frustrated by texting in class as talking in class.  People can text away and it doesn't necessarily bother me as a student, but when they start talking and it impacts my learning I am not happy... I have been known to give people "the look" :mob:

Maybe respect for others needs to be a little more heavily focused on throughout school.
