Black Cats

So, I heard on the radio the other day that the Humane Society will not be allowing the adoption of black cats this week because they are afraid that people are going to adopt them to use for pranks or to use in sacrifices.  WHAT!??  Sacrifices??  People are sick.

I wonder if much happened nation wide, I dont remember hearing anything about sacrifices.

Isn't their some connection between NDSU and Black Cats?  I thought there was some history between the two?
