It was cheaper than instate tuition to any school, though I would have loved to be a Duck if I could go back, but I met my wife here too. I was a swimmer, and schools back home who had swim teams were all private. I got cut 3 weeks later, but decided to stay and finish.

would have gone to the univ of Oklahoma

much better weather, bigger, more lively city

smaller aviation department, more personal, has similar, high quality equipment, competitive pricing

i would pack up and leave now but it would put me back another 2 years at least, as their program is more business centered (like our aviation mgmt degree) and i would have a LOT of new courses to take.

id rather just be done at this point.

Out of curiousity, jbaker, where would you go now if you had a choice?

aviation, and if i could go back and do it over, i would not have come here.  close enough to finishing though to just suck it up and GTFO when i am done.

i applied to 6 graduate schools and didn't get in.  Now I am here.

I was getting worried when I was not hearing from any of my grad. schools ... then thankfully the letter of acceptance from UND came.  TAKE THAT all the other schools that "sort of rejected me"

I followed a guy.

It was one of those things where I hadn't looked into the school until I found out my high school crush was coming here, and then I got curious. The more I looked into the school, the more I loved it. I talked to that crush maybe a half dozen times in the two years we were both at UND, but I am SO glad I came here.

I came here because it was close to home and because I knew I could get the financial aid to come here. Actually, I know I'm buying my very expensive time.  :sleepy5:

I choose option not listed.

Because UND offered me a Graduate Research Assistantship for my major.  UND is the leader in surface transportation weather which is a growing field and one I am interested in.  And they were the only school to accpet me with aide.

Although going to a school where hockey means more than football I kinda liked too lol.
