Widgets and U-mail?
« on: March 16, 2008, 03:21:46 PM »
Anyone know any good widgets to get to use with U-mail? So that it pops or something when I get a new message?

Also, whenever I click on any link that should open a new window (with java) in U-mail it doesn't work. So I have to send all my replies through my alt email addy which is a PITA.

The problem is with JAVA but I've troubleshot it dozens of times and had no luck.

Running XP Pro
Firefox.
Symantec Corporate AV and Symantec Client Firewall.
Spybot and Ad-aware.
All are current and updated versions.

You aren't just blocking popups with Firefox or something like that are you?

Widgets, I dunno.  I download all my mail from all my addresses through Apple Mail.  If you wanted to try that, Eudora or Thunderbird would work much better than Outlook and you can set it up to make noises and things when you get new mail.
JUST EXTRA POLISH. I DO SOME WORK WITH EXCELL SO I KEEP THE CAPS LOCK ON :-P
