Looking for: a small bicycle for Idaho
« on: April 30, 2009, 10:02:46 AM »
A friend of mine is graduating and moving to Idaho, so she's looking to upgrade her crappy commuter bicycle to something that has less rust and gears and brakes that work.  I might be able to give her a couple options from my own bicycle collection, but she's five feet tall, which is fairly limiting.  She's looking for something used because she can't afford a whole lot on a new ride.

I'm willing to do work on components to get something that works, but if anyone has a frame (road, mountain, hybrid, whatever) that might fit her, let me know.  She won't be doing long distances, just commuting within a small town.

JUST EXTRA POLISH. I DO SOME WORK WITH EXCELL SO I KEEP THE CAPS LOCK ON :-P

I'd look on craigslist. I just had one of the cats on BF selling a 48 or a 49cm roadie but its gone now.

I'll keep an eye on the stables.
