I don't know about wearing those. It looks really weird and like his eyes are twitching. I think it'd be really uncomfortable to wear those glasses-free things.

Well yeah, I imagine those plugs supposedly fire into his eye-closing muscles to make each eye blink independently.  It's the same technology as the new glasses (showing the view from one eye for half a frame and then switching), just using his eyelids as a shutter.

I agree though, it looks fairly freaky.  Imagine a whole room of people doing that...

I think they should stick more along the lines of Autostereoscopy which the new Gameboy will be using.
