To have some friends before you arrive, drop a line here that says you're interested in cycling.  We take all kinds.  Also check us out at the Student Involvement Expo the first Wednesday of school.

Not a fresher but an incoming grad student! I'm James, and I am an avid cyclist as well as a kayaker. I am looking to get involved with both sports at UND!

Hey James... hows it going? When will you be coming in, what grad work are you doing? What type (disciplines) of cycling are you into... what type of riding do you like to do?

I'll be getting to Grand Forks around the 12th of August and studying Earth System Science and Policy. Right now I am looking for a road bike to get into a little more touring/distance riding. I currently don't have the best equipment for that but definitely get by with what I have!

Nice... randonneur cycling is becoming more popular, I'm actually in the process of setting up one of my bicycles this way. If you need help with parts or have any questions about cycling, equipment, etc. Just post up...

Hey James!  I've been curious about the ESSP program--is it like ecology, geology, wildlife management, etc. all rolled into one, or is it like environmental studies, or am I missing something?  I guess what I'm asking is what you want to end up doing with it.  I've never met an ESSP person before.

In case you think I'm giving you a hard time about the applicability of your degree, I should tell you I'm pursuing a Ph.D in paleontology--not the least esoteric area.

Hello everyone! My name is Eric and am a senior pursueing a degree in marketing. I am new to cycling and just purchased my first road bike this past week and would like to compete one day. I hope to be able to meet you all and ride with everyone sometime.
