"What's this?" you say!  "Why is there a thread for an MWCCC race on the UND Cycling board?"

I will tell you.  Eventually.  It's going to be a lot harder to keep up with race reports than I thought.

After finding out on the last day of spring break training that the KU race (in Lawrence, Kansas) and associated USAC races that weekend were going to be snowed out, we sat down at the dining room table and started looking around.  The storm (I wish I had a picture of it) eventually passed through Oklahoma, Kansas, and northern Missouri by the time it was done, so we had little to go on in search of something nearby.

Luckily, the USAC website is good for something--particularly if that something is "finding a race in a neighboring state," however narrowing down the exact location of a particular race within a state involved three browser tabs and some open PDF files.  The best candidate was the Lindenwood University Road Race, about five hours of driving due east of our location at the time.

We had little time to decide.  We had a ride to get in, gear to pack, and plans to make, and the skies were darkening...

We are still waiting for official race results from the weekend, and I couldn't find any unofficial results posted at the race venue.  I will update when this information is available.

Coverage in the Dakota Student

In case anybody missed it.  Too bad it was in the "Life" rather than "Sports" section, but I won't complain too much.

Most of Mario I got was on video, I'll work on that.  I also have 17 minutes or so of rear-view video from the beginning of the C race, which includes Sanders looking like a stud.

The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.
