NDSU Course Reviews
« on: April 15, 2006, 11:11:35 PM »
OK, so we all know that there are some courses that just flat out suck at NDSU; others are walks in the park.  You know, like that time you took a 400-level and it was way easier than the 100-level you had the same semester. Don't get me wrong, I love ratemyprofessors.com, I never register without it, but this is for reviewing specific courses. So tell what you think, you may save a lot of us a headache along the way.

Anyone who needs gen ed requirements for social and behavioral science should look into taking an online class with Harriet Light (CDFS 475 or CDFS 230 are the ones I took).   They are only 6 or 8 tests and then you are done with the class.  I took it with a couple friends and we just bought one book, took all the tests in one weekend and returned the book for full price.  It is a great way to go to get the gen eds.

If you have a choice, try not to take any Physical Education classes from Deutch.  He treats his students like third graders.  Try and get them from Barney, he is much better.

If you need an anthro class, look for Gill-Robinson.  She is a little more difficult, but you sure learn a lot.

English 225: Intro to Theater

Amazingly easy class, watch a few movies, really simple tests, 2 papers to write, meets later in the evening though.

It's an easy Humanity to take and fulfills one of those secondary things (Global perspectives or something like that i believe). I took it from Eunice Johnston.

Take World Film, it counts as a couple of gen ed requirements and is an interesting class.
