I'm in  ;D
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

Here's a quick-start guide to the many different cyclists you may run into as a part of this club, Try to see if you can find at least one of each:

Hey, I am new to biking but got hooked on triathlons this summer and have really enjoyed the biking.  So, being a full time college student (for too many years now) with virtually no income, I did the only logical thing and spent a ton of money on a new bike. I try to ride as often as possible which is usually around 3 nights a week.  I have met a few of you before through tri's as well as previous years in college and would like to join the crew and learn a little bit about biking at the same time.  Look forward to future rides with you all.

Welcome, guys!  Check the Group Rides thread each afternoon to see if there's a ride, and show up if you're able.  Rides are usually at about 5:30, leaving from the union.

Hello,

MBK tells me I should introduce myself. I'm relatively new to cycling, converted an old frame to a fixed over the winter and have been commuting with that all summer.  Would also like to put some miles on the road bike this fall. Looking forward to meeting some of you on group rides.

Greetings,

I stopped by the booth today and met some of you, and wanted to say hello. I just moved to GF from Tallahassee FL. where I received my undergrad degree in geology, and also raced collegiate for the team at Florida State University. I've been riding and racing for about 5 years now road and off road with a mountain bike preference (too bad I moved to GF). On road I raced Collegiate B, including Crits, TT, TTT, and road races. Off road I raced collegiate A's XC and qualified individually for nationals last year I think. I also worked as a mechanic at a local bike shop, so I can offer any destructive advice that most of you probably already know.

I look forward to meeting y'all on the ride tomorrow, and hopefully not getting dropped, and learning what ND cycling is all about.

-Ted B.
