Earth day bike commuting seminar

Hey all, Joe Vacek (a professor over at aerospace and avid cyclist/really nice guy) will be putting together a class on bicycle commuting over at the wellness center on Tuesday April 21st at noon. He was wondering if the club/team would be interested in being involved. When I chatted with him a couple months ago about it he mentioned that he might have a group ride afterwards. At this point I don't have any specific details other than the time, but it would be a good chance for the club to get out and do something.

Just let me know if you are interested so I can let Joe know what to expect as far as people. I am going to try and help out no matter what, but it would be nice if the whole club could be involved. Logan you should bring out the unicycle.

I would be interested in attending the meeting, but I have class at 12:30 on Tu and Th.

The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

Sounds awesome, I'll let Joe know that he can expect a few people. Just make sure that you guys write it on your calenders so that you don't forget. Also, it sounds like he/you will be doing a ride of some sort afterwards. So bring bikes, helmets, piss and vinegar, and whatever else you might need.

I'll post more details as I find out. Let me know if you need to get in contact with Joe, I would post his email but I don't want to be the cause of huge amounts of spam.
