I just realized that my last post said 6pm for whatever reason. We're meeting at the union about 5:15. With an ETD of 5:30. We'll probably arrive at turtle river around 6ish.

For those of you that made the meeting last night (and for those that didn't)... Due to the odd way that our (the teammates) schedules are fitting together we will NOT have a hard schedule for this week. Don't despair however... this is typical.

If someone is going for a ride like Logan and Dave just above this post, simply post what time you're anticipating leaving. If people can make it, try and post in here so that whoever posted knows who they're waiting/looking for.

Road ride leaving from the Union at 5:30 (ish).  25-35 miles.  Helmets required.  As fast as people want to go.

Any way we can make that 6pm Dave? I have a flight at 330.

EDIT: Actually... I might not even make it by 6 so run it at 530. If I get out, I'll look for you guys otherwise... no worries.

Hey. My name is Terry O'Dell and Im a freshman this year and I was a frequent rider at home in Wisconsin. I was hoping to keep going with biking and join this group. However I do not have a bike right now and I am in the process of getting one to use. If I can would be possible for me to still join some rides with you guys.
Thanks, Terry.

welcome on the message board Terry. As long as you have any bike you can join us for the rides. For an easy, no drop ride it does not have to be a road bike. However, for a little bit faster group rides, which would be announced, the road bike is almost required.
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

Yeah Terry... in short, whenever you get your bike up here you can come ride. The sooner the better obv tho because in like a week it will be snowing.

Yes, I do! I have 1.5 hours ride today at a little bit harder pace. Lets meet at 3 in front of the Union.
