New year brings new sales tax
Helmut Schmidt, The Forum
Published Thursday, January 01, 2009

When you go to a store to buy a taxable item in Fargo, you’ll pay just a little bit more starting today.

The city’s half-cent sales tax for the Fargodome ended on Wednesday, but a new full-cent sales tax to pay for water, sewer and other infrastructure projects has taken its place.
