Right?

Well, they have the right to as private businesses, but I don't think I care either way.

I would rather see it legalized, though.

No, I'm saying that if it was legalized, should they still be able to say "If you work here, you can't smoke it, and we'll have random drug tests to prove so."

I think the private sector should be able to run their business any way they want.

My question is, if anyone out there doesn’t blaze now, and they made it legal, would you smoke?

I agree that they should be able to ban it if they see fit for their business practices or beliefs.  This would be similar to how some businesses wont hire you if you smoke cigarettes.

Right?

Well, they have the right to as private businesses, but I don't think I care either way.

I would rather see it legalized, though.

I work for the federal government, I can at any time be required to go in a cup. If I came back hot I would be fired on the spot.
Trust me; my employer cares if I use or not. Most private businesses I worked for cared as well. If you get caught using drugs you can also lose your right to federal student aid.

I don't know if America would allow drugs to be legal, maybe decriminalized like in Holland. You can buy pot in bars over there.

Ye hath little faith!  You doubt that it's going to be legal buy the time our generation gets in to power?

I think it would be appropriate and legally they could do it too.

Perhaps not up here, but I can assure you that it's the reality in larger more populated areas.  More than half of my high school was at the least occasionally on the cron.
