Reactions to the Bill Ayers talk last night

An update to this thread, since I attended Dr. Bill Ayers' talk last night.

Ayers spoke of a lot of things, but I think his real message was that we, as individuals, have to take charge of doing the things we want to see done. We have to be the ones who set the moral standards, not in a way that tells other people to adhere to those moral standards, but in a way that lets us face the world openly and honestly because we are "living our lives in a way that is not at odds with our beliefs" (that is a paraphrase; he said it much better).
