President and Marcia Kelley don't think of the house in which they live as theirs--they think of it as belonging to the whole university.  As students, we're all welcome.

Donít take this characterization literally, UND employees. This doesnít mean you can stop by and see whatís in the pantry for lunch. Nor does it mean you can unroll your sleeping bag and spend the night on the floor in an adult sleepover.

What it means is that the new $1 million residence belongs to the university. So, they consider it the university house. Marcia said a newfound friend in North Dakota explained it to her.
