This is going down, so here's the flyer.

Show up a Lincoln Drive Park (Grand Forks) with your cyclocross bike, your mountain bike, or whatever bike you think will work for a fun (and potentially dirty) ride.  We're looking at one winner-take-all 30-minutes-plus-one-lap race, although if both ladies and gentlemen show up we could probably be convinced to split the prize money.  Feel free to bring something "extra" to donate toward the winner(s), but it's not required.

Be on the lookout for barriers, hills, and maybe even some water, so dress appropriately!

Update: Course will be about 0.8 miles/1.3 kilometers long.

Questions?  Post up.

The road tires will probably not be a good idea on the course we have planned.

If you can borrow any sort of bike with knobby tires from a friend, that would work better.

I'd lend you my mountain bike but the frame is way too big for you I think.

Welp, Nathan has his olde ex-bike polo bike in the "for sale" thread.  I mean, it only has one gear, but I think you'd be okay.

That's a good point, but we don't know how many more bicycles Cycleguy wants to have around right now.  Looking at the photos though, Cycleguy, it might be a good multipurpose bike for you.

How tall are you anyway?  Maybe my MTB would work for you after all, since I have the seat jacked up pretty high.

Fun!
The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

I updated this set a little by cropping and adjusting the photos.

I also threw the Maplelag photos from last year up on Flickr as well.  I think this will work more easily than resizing things and then uploading them to my server.
