Hey wondering if this week you guys could do one of the easier no drop rides on a Tuesday or Thursday because those are the only days I'm usually done by 5. I couldn't make it out last Thursday, but I would like to go out next week if that would work......thanks!

Going to do a ride at 5:30 pm.  Post a reply if interested, we'll meet at the union then.

Ride will be pretty casual 1:30-2:00 hr.  Maybe a few pick ups thrown in here and there (ie 30 sec-1 min sprints), but nothing we won't all regroup for.  Ted if you have to be in class by 7:00 we could start at 5:15 if you wanted? or we'll swing back and do another small loop.

Lauren, I imagine the easier ride would be Thursday, but don't hold me to that.

Who wants to do a no-drop on Tue or Thur with Lauren?  I need to go hard at least one of those days because I am not able to ride today or Wed or Friday.

I'm going to modify this so it makes more sense and doesn't make me sound like an ass.  Lauren, post a no-drop ride on the day you want to have a no-drop ride and people will show up (although it looks like earlier than 5:15 is more difficult).  You (and anyone else who wants to ride with the club) are FREE and ENCOURAGED to post rides and not wait for other people to do it.

Not everyone has the same schedule, but more importantly, not everyone who potentially wants to do a group ride is able to make it at the times people usually post up, so the more people we have posting rides, the more rides can go out, the more people get riding, the more "normal" it seems, and the sooner the world becomes a better place.  Barring that, at least it will get you someone to ride with.

Fast/hard/workout DROP road ride TUESday at 5:15 leaving from the Union at 5:16.  We'll help you go hard, but you might have to hold on tight.  Now, if you're still reading but want to go easier, post up and there can be a second (yes, that's right, a second) ride going out at the same time.  We have enough people for this and it can happen.

IF YOU WANT, you can organize a ride for Wednesday afternoon and choose your own adventure.  This is the perfect chance if you want to do a group ride AND the Thursday meeting but don't want to do them on the same day.

NO-DROP road ride on THURSday at 5:15 leaving from the Union at 5:16.  We need to be able to get back and cleaned up in time for the meeting at 8.

As always, wear a helmet and dress for the weather, and if you want to ride at a different time, post up and see who comes out of the woodwork to keep you company!

I'm down for tomorrow in the second (slower) group.  What I would propose for the 2nd group, however, is a hard as possible nodrop (if that makes any sense at all) for the slower bikes.

There should be pretty weak winds tomorrow afternoon/evening with the temperature possible getting closer to 50 than the 45 mark.  Everyone should get out!

Hey guys, I really want to go tomorrow, but I have a test at 4:00.  It is a lab test and I might not be out until 5:30, so i may just miss you guys.  But if i get done earlier i will swing by

Mills... lucky for you. I like you. So I'll give you this pro tip.

1. Pass test.
2. Get bike, and ride the route backwards.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Just ride the route reverse, and depending on where you catch them, you can either:

A: turn around and ride back with the group to make the ride shorter/longer
B: The group (or some of them) can turn and ride with you to make the ride shorter/longer
A and B: The ride is so long that it's the shortest ride you've ever been on.
All of the above: The ride is the longest ride.

(TC: One time I took a test that was arranged in exactly this ridiculous and non logical way, but instead of being awesome no matter what choice I made... it was essentially horrible because it was graded. I got a C and I hope that professor gets run over by a train. Figuratively of course. Not literally. Thats horrible.)

This makes perfect sense.  Everyone gets a workout but the stronger riders can pull more often and the weaker riders can work on sticking in the draft.

Summarizing (and posting to Twitter):
Tuesday 5:15: Hard drop road ride, meet at Union, wear a helmet
Tuesday 5:15: No-drop road ride, meet at Union, wear a helmet
