I like the start menu better. Can't really see much of a difference, has a cool software install system for stuff not in adept, or synaptic.
I don't know if ubuntu has beryl setup or not, but this does, so you can get the cool cube multi desktop thing going nice and simple.
I just like the start menu layout alot better...
Now I'm back to square one with the NAS Though..... ARG I want it to just show up as a Drive, I don't want to log into it every time i start up... I want that to auto happen, so I can load up amarok and tell it to play music... hhmmm more digging.
So i finally got tired of PCLinuxOS and switched to MINT. So far I'm liking it.... easy to update, easy to add software, nice interface. based off Ubuntu.... We'll see how long this goes.
Oh yea, I also already figured out how to map my NAS in MINT.... sweet
PCLinuxOS is what I'm using right now.... but it has some quirks that are pissing me off.... Wireless interface is the worst!, you can't put Knetworkmanager on it because of some library's it needs aren't supported or something right now... So I'm trying to make it work a little better... but its anoying at best.
Then the mapping of the network drive I think is just a linux thing... other than that the interface I really like... but ARG... setting things up is just anoying.... I might switch back to ubuntu soon....
