FarmHouse fraternity expanding

A new house planned for the FarmHouse Fraternity at North Dakota State University will transform a corner across from campus.
The fraternity at College Street and 12th Avenue North expects to start construction this month on a more modern house that will be set back from the corner with a large lawn.
The $1.6 million project will involve demolishing the existing FarmHouse building and at least two houses south of the fraternity on College Street, said Rick Berg, a FarmHouse alumnus who’s involved with the project.
